Singapore Airline – an extraordinary opportunity Even before finishing my A-Levels, I had the desire to pursue a professional career in the aviation business. The International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef · Bonn convinced me with its practical study course in aviation management, giving me the opportunity to combine my personal interest with comprehensive academic knowledge. With the help of its excellent network, the university helped me to find a six-month internship with the revenue management department of Lufthansa AG. During my time as an intern, I became more and more interested in management tasks concerning full service network carriers. Therefore, I concentrated on classical airline management functions in the progress of my study programme. While still writing my bachelor thesis, I started to apply for various careers in the aviation industry and was directly invited to a personal interview with Singapore Airlines. The Management Trainee Programme with Singapore Airlines offers me a unique opportunity in the aviation industry. During my time as a trainee, I will be attached to all departments operated by SIA Germany, in order to be comprehensively prepared for my future position within the company. I am thrilled to have this extraordinary chance. I am also convinced that the practical orientated study programme in Bad Honnef is a valuable foundation for my professional career development. |
